ABOUT ME

I believe the most important component of therapy is the relationship between the therapist and the client. Regardless of a therapist's identity or training - what truly matters is the therapist's ability to connect in deep and meaningful ways with their client. For those that are more curious about my credentials the following is a brief synopsis, but I am happy to offer more detailed information upon request.

I am a licensed mental health counselor in both Massachusetts and Nevada with a bachelor's and master's degrees from Boston College in Clinical Psychology and Mental Health Counseling respectively.

I have certificates and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotional Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Sports Psychology, and Existential Therapy.

My specialties include anxiety, depression, life/career transitions, mood regulation, sports psychology, relationship issues, and work in high stress academics and professions.

Prior to and along my journey to private practice I worked in in-patient psychiatric hospitals, addiction treatment centers, universities, and as a consultant for athletic programs and start-up businesses.

I pride myself on working with a diverse and eclectic caseload. Athletes, tattoo artists, investment bankers, doctors, painters, lawyers, musicians, PhD candidates, first responders, scientists, and countless others have all found a welcome home in my office.

I was born and raised in a central Nevada, but I have called Boston home since 2007. In my free time you can find me in the mountains on my snowboard or on my motorcycle trying my best not to fall down.
